Durian!

The infamous fruit for it's pungent smell named durian is in season in Malaysia from May through July and again in December. So we had to try some! It was interesting! I would describe it as a strong sweet smell with a creamy taste. I think I could come to like it. There are many varieties as you can see in the photos below. The most expensive and prized one is Black Thorn. We tried Musang King and Ganja.





You must buy it and eat it outside! Notice the sign to not bring durian onto public transportation!













And it is made into all kinds of products like durian ice cream and durian biscuits. I've come to really like it, but Joe not so much.
